We stayed in a 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom condo here that was wonderfully comfortable as well as a great location ,as it is right across from a nice beach and play ground.

Hannah is getting so much better at traveling but it wasn't always that way.
In the beginning she would just cry in the unfamiliar surroundings and getting her to bed was a nightmare. I would end up sleeping with her. Good for her but not me, never a good night sleep.
As times away have been a bit more frequent she has become more accustom to the routine of going away. I feel like she realizes that we're all there and this is going to be home for the next number of days.
Of course we always bring her favorite blankets, toys, and bed/nap time music, and since we have a kitchen we can make the foods she likes to eat. Comforts from home to make the transition easier.
While at Oceanside we made sure she had lots of time to hang out and have fun before bed and low and behold bedtime was a good experience. She even slept in the same room as her sister this time and that also was a success.
I realize their may be set backs or times of struggle in the future but for now the experience has been so much more encouraging that I will keep planning family time away.
After all we all need to get away once in a while in order to appreciate home.
