If we as a family haven't planned a vacation,
then my husband is working and its up to me to keep my kids busy and motivated.
I have yet to try a vacation camp out so its up to me and my imagination to get things in order to entertain the troops.
I'm usually up for the challenge but it gets exhausting and old if we keep doing the same things.
So my first rule is:
1. Mix it up, try something different or at least something you haven't done in a while
2. If your going to include others like friends or family that does not live with you then give them at least a weeks notice to check their schedule and commit to getting together with you. Last minute works with some but not always.
3. The more you plan things the better it is for our autistic kids and then of course the more relaxed and in control we as parents feel.
4. I searched the below list and found all that I needed to make a wonderful week for myself and kids.

Here's to a great Spring vacation.
